Born in New Jersey, the tall, dark-haired, and handsome actor Ivan Sergei got his start as an actor in the mid-1990s. Most recently, Ivan starred in the feature film “Jewtopia” opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt and directed by Bryan Fogel, and was the lead in the Starz original series “Gravity” opposite Krysten Ritter. His extensive feature film credits include Don Roos' acclaimed independent "The Opposite of Sex" (1998) playing a slow-witted hunk seduced by the manipulative half-sister (Christina Ricci) of his partner (Martin Donovan), “The Big Day,” “Scorched,” “Dangerous Minds” starring Michelle Pfeiffer, and “The Break-Up,” with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. On television, Sergei is known also for his leading roles in series such as “Jack & Jill,” opposite Amanda Peet, NBC’s “Hawaii,” ABC’s “Wednesday 9:30 (8:30 Central)” and John Woo’s “Once a Thief.” Ivan Sergei currently resides in Los Angeles. |
